The absolutely wonder cuisine ties in perfectly to the contemporary style. The vast menu was filled with mouth-watering options and the kind staff assisted me with finding the item that I may like the best. I eventually ordered the Lobster Roll, with a side of Cay's Clam Chowder. Both were filled with flavor and packed with an excellent value for the price that you paid! I made an easy reservation on Easter Sunday, 2021. Although that easy reservation was quite necessary, I heard; me and my friends were glad we made one. It is a popular place, and I completely understand that! We left with plenty of time and we kindly, were directed to the nearby shops and sights by the knowledgeable staff. I feel very comfortable and I am proud to say, that I fully enjoyed my experience that Cheever Tavern! I would undoubtedly recommend it to friends, family, and people who are looking for a great place to eat! Please be sure to make a reservation to be completely comfortable with the times of your arrival and departure. So, as a friend of mine, take my recommendation to eat here, and I can promise that you will enjoy whatever meal you order and restaurant itself!
Had 2 delicious screwdrivers with the meal. I had the pork belly hash. Potatoes were perfect, pork belly ratio was perfect and cooked perfect. Egg was cooked to specifications of over medium and not overcooked. Ordered a grilled English because that's the only way to have an English and it was perfect too. All around great experience, staff was very friendly. Will be returning.
Came to this Pulitzer themed tavern for Ryan’s 33rd birthday and what a fantastic choice it was! I highly recommend “Daddy’s lobster roll” but you can’t go wrong with any of the sandwich’s. Sydney and Olivia were the best servers that I’ve encountered in years. They gave helpful recommendations, prompt/friendly service, and put up with our nonsense! Thanks so much for a great Lunch, ladies!
Cheever Tavern is exceptional. Perfect place to bring a date, close friends or family members. The food is always good, the menu changes frequently I do not like brussels sprouts, but I love them here. (Not to be missed!) I love the Bolognese, the steak tips, the Caesar salad, the desserts are exceptional. I can't say enough. Michael, the owner runs a top-notch business that is expanding. They have a beautiful outdoor seating area with fire pits. The manager, V runs a tight ship and is incredibly welcoming and the staff adores her. (So do I) I highly recommend booking a reservation.
Really loved it! Did not have a reservation but was still able to get a seat outside. Despite being a chilly evening the outdoor heaters were warming & we had a nice dinner outside! Drinks were nice as were the dinner selections! Embarrassed to say we hadn't heard of Cheever Tavern but learned a lot about our local history as well as enjoying a lovely night out! Can't wait to return w/ friends soon!!!
A warm welcome as you enter. We were seated straight away and the menu looked very good. We started with street corn and chips. It was delicious. We followed with Lobster roll for my wife and I had the seafood Bucatini and it was outstanding. For desert we had Blueberry and lemon cake. Our server Rita was an absolute delight extremely friendly. I would say you need to sort out your WiFi , you have a great system to pay via a QR code but it won’t work because of you WiFi.
Just went to Cheever Tavern for the first time and let me say, I will be back again. The food, service, and environment were all top notch. We ordered the Pullitzer burger & Steak Sandwich. It tasted so fresh and wasn’t greasy at all. The French fries that came with the hand helds were very unique and tasty as well. The butter cake for dessert was amazing! So soft and gooey, one of my favorite desserts I’ve had out in a long time. Definitely add this to your list!
Cheever Tavern in Norwell is a great find in a nice part of town, with plenty of parking and a clean, modern vibe. The large front patio with fire stands adds a nice touch. Inside, the space is sleek and comfortable. The service is friendly and professional. The food is where Cheever really shines. The Brussels sprouts are crispy and flavorful, and the Wagyu sliders are juicy and satisfying. But the standout dish is the Pad Thai. Overall, Cheever Tavern delivers. Good atmosphere, great service, and excellent food. Worth a visit if you’re in the area or looking for a reliable night out.
Absolutely lovely. We had great service and the atmosphere was welcoming and easy going. Not rushed at all. There was a really good selection for food. Loved the maple roasted Brussels sprouts! Highly recommend. Definitely going back!
Whether it’s brunch with the girls or a romantic night out, you have to try Cheever Tavern!!! The staff are amazing and so friendly. The vibes are always on point. Inside is so cute but the outside patio is wonderful. Must tries are the street corn dip, bang bang cauliflower, my personal fav the wagyu sliders. All the salads are delicious. The chicken sandwich!! The Cod or the Bolognese for dinner. And you know you have to try their seasonal drinks! This is the type of place that becomes a regular occasion. You won’t be disappointed.
